Disney Wish Concierge Summary

  • Concierge is not cheap

    • Often it is double what a veranda stateroom would cost but for the base concierge room

    • Therefore, want to maximize your time in the lounge and pool deck

  • Concierge is one of those things that I would want to do when I want that extra luxury and don’t necessarily care as much about the ports or the rest of the ship

  • If you are a DCL first timer maybe do not do concierge because there is so much offered on the DCL ship that you will have a hard time maximizing both. If the sailing is a longer sailing, then concierge would be perfect.

  • Embarkation

    • Port gate opens at 10:30 am

    • Once in drop your bags off and park

      • For a 3-day sailing you pay for 4 days of parking

    • Security line opens at 11 am to get into the port

    • After they check you in you will get a gold sticker which gets you into the port concierge lounge area (of note not all ports have this area)

      • It has a cooler with drinks (water, Coke, Sprite, Diet Coke)

      • While in there the concierge team will come in and talk about the lunch and lounge hours during the sailing

    • When in concierge your boarding group is number 1 therefore you can board any time once the ship opens between 11 and 11:30 am

    • Once on the ship it will be a little quieter since not many guests on yet, but the Grand Hall/Atrium might not have all the staff clapping as you enter because of how early it is

    • Lunch is in 1923 which included specialty beverages (Bloody Mary, Mimosa)

    • Rooms ready by 12:30 pm and if need just lift the blue barricades and head to your room

  • Debarkation

    • Might be one of the best perks

    • Head to the lounge between 7 and 8 am

    • Lounge will serve continental breakfast (muffins, croissants, fruits, yogurts)

    • Once done head to the elevators deck 12

    • Grab a concierge staff member who will use a secret card to tap the elevator that will then read PRIORITY and it will take you straight to deck 3 to get off the ship

      • That is correct no stopping on other floors

    • Once on deck 3 a concierge staff will walk you to a concierge debarkation line

      • It will be a shorter line
