Why Should Your Next Cruise Be on a Disney Ship
Cruising is an awesome way to explore new and multiple areas all while only unpacking your suitcase one. You can explore each port with excursions through DCL or privately based on what you are looking for. This will allow you to plan your entire cruise before you leave home.
Since the cruise ship travels while you sleep, nothing beats going to sleep in one city and then waking up in a different one.
Most cruise lines have their own private islands therefore you can relax and slowdown with a beach day and a little less hassle than other ports.
Some of the ports you explore would not be possible or easily possible by land therefore taking a cruise ship might be the best way to explore them. Also based on the size of the ship, typically the smaller the ship the more ports it can explore because it can fit into smaller areas.
If you are visiting a port, you do not want to explore or have been there many times, then that day the cruise ship is your destination. You can relax on the ship with extra activities such as pool time, trivia, tastings, adult dining, and movie time to name a few.
Since most ports on a sailing, you are only there for that day or less than 16 hours, it gives you a taste of that location and if you love it, you then could come back and further explore it with more time and travel.
Lastly because there is so much offered on a cruise ship it is a perfect vacation when traveling with multiple generations at the same time. Each activity and day can be tailored towards each person’s wants and abilities. Plus, nothing beats having the grandparents for a babysitter therefore the parents can enjoy a special dinner/meal. We have personally done this and look forward to booking another one with my family.
Why book a DCL sailing
Kids ages 3 and up have amazing spaces on the ships to explore and make friends on the sailing all while being entertained by some of the best cast member counselors. Disney spends so much time developing these clubs that kids never want to leave.
Are you a Disney fan or with someone that is, then DCL is perfect for you, with numerous character meet and greets, themed in the staterooms and ship to explore, Broadway like shows and movies to name a few.
Disney Cruise Line over the last few years has been growing by adding more ships, new ports and destinations and updating older ships with new restaurants and shows. Not to mention starting in 2024 DCL will now have two private islands to explore.
My teenager loves the freedom on the cruise ship which we require him to eat meals with us and sleep in our stateroom but other than that he is typically out and about, and we feel comfortable giving him that freedom to explore.
DCL prides itself on outstanding customer service. I typically find it is better than the parks nowadays. The staff truly care and want you to have a magic vacation.
